One of my favourite places that I fell in love with when I flew to Los Angeles was Venice in California. I loved the suburb, the beach and Abbot Kinney Drive. Every part of the suburb was so different to another section and yet, they all work well together the way it is. One of the drawing factor was how at home I felt here and it was amazing being part of a place that is transient in nature yet there was a strong sense of community. I literally met people from all walks of life, both locals and tourists. I loved how each morning I woke up to beautiful sunshine and clear blue skies. A big added bonus with my time in Venice was staying with the most lovely AirBnB host.
